JW Equestrian began in 2018 by passionate horsewoman Jade Willis. She endeavours to share her passion with as many people as possible. Installing education into the next generation of equine lovers.
Our Team
Jade Willis
Jade is the CEO and a real hustler. She has grown JW Equestrian into the amazing business it is today. Whether shes teaching or out competing, Jade is passionate and loves to show others how amazing horses can be!
Horses: Vino, Colin and Boo (just to name a few)
Favourite thing about riding: Riding gives Jade the opportunity to have fun and take a break from adult responsibilities.
Fun fact: Jade has many accolades but being Juniors mum is the best one yet.
Favourite schooler: Beachy
Kira Thompson
Kira is our forewoman! She keeps the place running smoothly and is always hard at work.
Horses: Ben, Ming, Rip
Favourite thing about riding: Relaxing and escaping reality with her horses.
Fun fact: Kira starting working with racehorses at the age of 15 and has a wealth of equestrian knowledge.
Favourite schooler: Mario, Elf and Robbie
Carlee
Carlee is part of the furniture at JW Equestrian. She teaches lessons, helps out with pony parties and does whatever Jade packs into her schedule!
Horse: In the market for a stallion!
Favourite thing about riding: Carless started riding as a teen and enjoys being challenged with the main aim of staying on the horse!
Fun fact: Carless was around when Jade first bought the property that is JW Equestrian. There was 3 little yards off a shipping container – look how far its come!
Favourite schooler: Frankie
Elithia (Eli)
Eli teaches lessons, trail rides and loves helping people gain confidence on the ground and in the saddle, You will find her at JW Equestrian a few days a week.
Horse: 1 spicy arabian mare
Favourite thing about riding: Trail riding out in the bush, dropping off edges and jumping logs.
Fun fact: Eli got her Arabian when she was 10 which ignited her life long love for horses.

Favourite schooler: Elf
Felicity (Flick)
Flick has been working at JW Equestrian for over a year, riding horses and teaching lessons. She enjoys competing in her spare time with her 2 horses.
Horse: Nugget and Fish
Favourite thing about riding: Flick is always up for a challenge and loves riding the green horses Jade gets in.
Fun fact: Flick used to own Noddy!
Favourite schooler: Simon
Emily (Em)
Em is around to help out with horses including bringing them in, saddling up, feeding and pony rides.
Horse: Holly
Favourite thing about riding: Just being around horses and when all the training and practice falls into place.
Fun fact: Em started lessons for fun with no intention to get a horse. Now shes had 2 through Jade.
Favourite schooler: Noddy and Revie
Lara
Lara is our behind the scenes marketing and social media whizz. She loves to help out in whatever way possible.
Horse: None (yet)
Favourite thing about riding: Taking a break from reality to live the ultimate saddle club dream.
Fun fact: Lara started riding at 8! Old dogs can learn new tricks.
Favourite schooler: Facey
Mitch
Mitch supports our Equine Assisted Well Being clients creating a safe and inclusive environment. You will often see him broom in hand, trying to beat his PB of sweeping the barn!
Horses: Sheryl and Shirley
Favourite thing about riding: Riding is Mitchs happy place, it allows him to focus and enjoying being present with his horse.
Fun fact: Mitch came to ride as an adult and is now all in!
Favourite schooler: Greyland
Louise
Lou instructs at JW Equestrian as a trail guide on weekends. She loves seeing people have a fun day out and build their confidence on horses.
Horses: None (yet)
Favourite thing about riding: Just being around horses and the therapeutic feeling of being out in nature with them.
Fun fact: Lous is a social worker during the week and also has a dog called Junior.
Favourite schooler: Rusty.
Junior
Junior is the top dog around JW Equestrian. He is often seen out in the arena coaching or is busy napping in the office.
Horses: None
Favourite thing about riding: Going for trots and spotting roos down in the National Park.
Fun fact: Junior is a rescue and loves a smoochie.
